We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Heavy Duty Environmental Services Attendant. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Mixes chemicals and operates carpet shampooer and buffer.
Moves furniture and cleans assigned area.
Maintains and cleans machines after use.
Maintains general cleaning of the entire casino, excluding kitchen, and bar areas. Transports all trash.
Reports any problems to EVS Supervisor.
Adheres to all company, department policies, procedures and safety standards.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and fellow cast members.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
The ability to operate sweeping and shampooing equipment.
While performing the duties of this Job, the cast member is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The cast member is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The cast member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
