We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Pool Attendant. An individual could be successful if they posses the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Maintains and cleans all pool complex area to include picking up, laundering and replacement of towels.
Informs Housekeeping Supervisors or Manager of any towel shortage.
Maintains the cleanliness of pool complex.
Checks to make sure only authorized guests are using pool complex.
Delivery of both internal and external guest requests.
Exhibits a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
Transports linen from storage areas to pool complex.
Transports all trash.
Reports any problems to Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor, Manager or GSS Officer as needed.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Supervisor or a member of management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Good communication skills
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other cast members of the organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Prior hotel experience preferred.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to talk or hear. The cast member is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell. The cast member is occasionally required to climb or balance. The cast member must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The cast member is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
