We are currently seeking a talented individual to become a Hotel Manager. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.
Your daily responsibilities include:
Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the departments for which this position is responsible.
Responsible for planning and developing the staffing, supervision, and training of all cast members within the Hotel, Call Center and RV Park departments.
Responsible for promoting positive guest relations and resolving guest complaints.
Responsible for high level of quality service standards in Hotel, Call Center and RV Park throughout the property. This includes both the level of service delivered to the guest as well as physical appearance of the property.
Responsible for ensuring fair discipline and counseling of all cast members.
Responsible for ensuring maximum occupancy levels are achieved within segments that maximize overall property revenues.
Responsible for developing and administering appropriate departmental budgets and forecast.
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility.
Sets operational goals and monitors achievement of performance and profit objectives.
Develops and administers policies promoting effective customer relations.
Must maintain a valid Mississippi Drivers License and maintain a clean driving record. (Contingent upon the need to use a company vehicle). Must have drivers license on their person at all times.
Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.
Any and all duties as assigned by your Director or a member or management.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draew valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software.
Must be able to obtain a Gaming Permit. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must successfully complete C.A.R.E. training certification course.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The cast member is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The cast member is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The cast member must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
