Your daily responsibilities include:
A Heavy Duty Steward deep cleans all Food and Beverage Outlet or Venues as needed, assist Bartenders and Barbacks with cleaning of all bars and bar service areas and wash any dishes let over from the previous shift.
A. All duties may change or be altered as determined by the Lead Steward on duty.
B. Maintains all BOH work areas (kitchens, prep areas, and dish rooms), equipment (stoves, grills, stove hoods,
ven hoods, deep fryers and fryer boil-out, etc.), and assists with the daily cleaning and in accordance with
OSHA and ServSafe standards.
C. Removes garbage and trash from all operating venues, ensure all trash cans are clean and relined.
D. Clean mechanical devices as needed, i.e. dishwashers, combi ovens, ice cream machines and smoker.
E. Adheres to safety, proper cleanliness and sanitation standards as set forth by Company and Departmental
Guidelines and ServSafe.
F. Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all kitchen and food storage areas by scrubbing the floors,
cleaning surfaces, washing walls, and ceilings tiles as needed.
G. Carries or transfers by cart, supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
H. Maintain safe working conditions and practices throughout all guest and service contact areas.
Must be presentable when reporting to work, wearing Hollywood issued uniforms. Good personal hygiene is
required. Initiate a positive guest experience when working in or traveling by any
guest contact area by providing a warm welcome and/or greeting, making eye contact, smiling, and bidding a
warm farewell and good luck, etc.
To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
