Job Summary Adjunct faculty members within the School of Ocean Science and Engineering Division of Marine Science facilitate student achievement of course objectives and prepares Undergraduate and/or Graduate Students to matriculate through the following School of Ocean Science and Engineering Division of Marine Science programs :

)Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Online and/or face-to-face course delivery and instruction
Prepare and submit syllabi, grades and other required course documentation in a timely manner
Communicate course requirements and expectations to students
Follow policies and procedures of the School of Ocean Science & Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and The University of Southern Mississippi
Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Masters degree from an accredited college or university in discipline related to assigned course of instruction.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching, mentoring and service experience at university level
Experience with online course delivery and instruction
Professional experience in field related to assigned course of instruction
Experience with Canvas learning platform
