Chemical Operations Manager
Job Summary Facilitates all functional activities in the Chem-Ops Production Area, including but not limited to, EHS&S compliance, manufacturing capabilities, quality and service performance, process improvement, cost optimization and team management. How You Can Be the Impact Interacts with the business and site in setting the direction for the operating unit including operating parameters and high-level production targets and Business Rules. Identifies and communicates operating unit goals and technology plans with respect to health, safety, and environmental concerns, unit operations, and technical opportunities. Owns the Unit Technology Plan. Demonstrates leadership by assigning people appropriate decision rights. Makes sound and timely business decisions based upon Business Technology and Unit Technology Plans. Develops and drives implementation of capital projects that support and advance Business and Unit improvement initiatives. Manages personal development and the development of direct reports. Sets expectations and coaches unit and site team members to ensure that they are capable and accomplished.
